Privacy policy
Last updated: October 2026
This policy explains how CLOUD STATION INC. (“CloudStation”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information. We follow Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What this policy covers
This policy covers our website, cloudstation.ca, and any mobile or web apps we publish under the CloudStation name, unless an app has its own privacy policy. Where an app collects information beyond what is described here, we list it in the “Our apps” section below before that app is released.
Information we collect
When you visit the website
- We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or embedded social media on this website.
- Our hosting provider, Microsoft Azure, automatically processes technical information needed to deliver the site and keep it secure, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This information is kept in server logs for a limited time.
When you email us
- We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to write in your message and attachments.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and discuss or deliver the work you ask about.
- To run, secure and fix problems with our website and apps.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, such as our hosting and email providers, and only as needed for them to provide that service. These providers may store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it is subject to local laws. We may also disclose information when required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and project correspondence for as long as needed to respond, deliver our work and meet legal and accounting requirements, and then delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards for the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to people who need it, and reputable providers.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent and ask us to delete it, subject to legal requirements. Emailcontact@cloudstation.ca and we will respond within 30 days.
Children
Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Our apps
We have not yet published apps under this policy. When we do, this section will list each app and any information it collects, how it is used, and whether it is shared.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our website and apps change. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date.
